Sharpening their skills

PALMETTO ELECTRIC’S Rodeo team competed at the South Carolina Lineman’s Rodeo, March 25-26 at Horry Electric Cooperative in Conway. Andrew Malphrus placed first, and Tanner Massey placed second in the Apprentice Written Exam competition.

Lineworkers from the 18 co-ops belonging to the Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina participated in the skills competition. The mission of the S.C. Lineman’s Rodeo is to inspire a culture of safety with a focus on training while encouraging an atmosphere of competition and community among South Carolina’s electric cooperative lineworkers. We’re proud of our linemen and the way they represent Palmetto Electric.
