Palmetto Electric Cooperative was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and SCBIZ Magazine. Palmetto Electric finished 30th in the Medium Employer category (50–249 employees). There are several factors that contribute to making a company a “Best Place to Work,” including the committed and hard-working team of employees and Board of Directors that we have at Palmetto Electric. Their dedication to our members and the cooperative, especially over the past two years and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, exemplify our core values of integrity, accountability, commitment to community, teamwork, safety and innovation.

In addition to being named one of the Best Places to Work, Palmetto Electric also received a score of 89, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Each year, this score is highly anticipated, as it reflects our members’ satisfaction with Palmetto Electric, our products and our service. This year’s score of 89 shows that the overall satisfaction among our members continues to be excellent.

Both awards are a reflection of the values that make Palmetto Electric Cooperative such a special organization. As we recognize National Co-op Month in October, we celebrate the cooperative difference and the opportunity we have to serve our members each and every day.
