Palmetto Electric and its employees were hard at work during the Christmas season, spreading joy and demonstrating the seventh cooperative principle, Concern for Community, by giving back to the communities it serves.
Spreading warmth: Palmetto Electric employees (left) collected and delivered more than 100 blankets to local nursing home residents at The Pines, NHC Healthcare and the Ridgeland Nursing Center.
WIRE Holiday Drop Off: Palmetto Electric’s community outreach group, WIRE (Women Involved in Rural Electrification) hosted a Holiday Drop-Off Dec. 8–10.
